This working session will help you lay the foundation for a strong hiring process by walking through how to build a job in Greenhouse. Job configuration impacts your candidate experience, enables your hiring team to make informed decisions, and ensures clean reporting.

We’ll walk through the essential steps for building a basic job, including adding an office and department, completing core job details, and creating a scorecard and job post. You’ll also see how these pieces fit into the broader setup of your Greenhouse account—and how to keep building from here. This session is designed for new customers with Site Admin and Job Admin permissions and includes live walkthroughs so you can follow along and complete key steps in real time.

By the end of this session, you will:

• Understand how to create jobs and job posts, and be ready to build all open roles
• Add one office and department to assign to a job
• Build a basic job, including job info, hiring team, scorecard, interview plan, and job post
• Create a scorecard to align your hiring team
